Van Mahotsav – Celebrating the Green Guardians

“Each one, plant one – A seed planted today for a greener tomorrow!”
The students of Class II celebrated Van Mahotsav, a festival that honours the vital role of trees and environmental conservation on 14th July 2025 in a Special Assembly. The celebration began on a serene note with a prayer for a greener planet, followed by a Mime Act, sensitising all to the pressing issue of deforestation and its deep impact on Earth.
A vibrant dance performance by young students showcased the vital role of forests in our lives. This was followed by an elegant yoga display, symbolising balance, discipline, and unity with nature. A heartfelt song on saving echoed the importance of conservation. The youngest students from the Montessori Section added sparkle to the event with an adorable dance performance that truly won every heart.
The students also took a pledge to be committed in nurturing and protecting Mother Earth. Ms. Rashi Oberoi, Headmistress, in her address, inspired everyone to take responsibility for the environment. The students also planted saplings to give meaning to their actions.
