‘Roadmap 2026-Trending Careers and Changing Fields – Workshop for Parents’

Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar, organised a session for parents of Class X students on ‘Roadmap 2026: Trending Careers and Changing Fields.’ The session, held on 22 November, 2025 aimed to empower parents with clarity on stream selection for Class XI.

The expert speaker for the day, Mr. Nakul Shairwal, an accomplished career counsellor, Delhi AICTE MBA topper in International Business, and Head of the Counselling Division at EduMENTOR, brought his rich experience of guiding over 2,00,000 students across 100+ schools every year.

Mr. Shairwal introduced parents to the rapidly evolving world of trending careers, emerging fields, and the new-age demands of higher education. The presentation offered crisp insights into Science, Commerce, and Humanities, while also opening doors to futuristic domains like Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Marketing, Behavioral Sciences, Design, and Global Business. He emphasized the growing importance of interdisciplinary learning and skill-based education in shaping successful career paths.

An engaging Q&A session followed, wherein parents sought clarity on subject combinations, competitive exams, and career trajectories. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Jyotsna Grover, Vice Principal, appreciating Mr. Shairwal for his valuable insights and the parents for their active participation.
