CBSE Capacity Building Programme on Learning Outcomes & Pedagogies

Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar organised a CBSE workshop on “Learning Outcomes and Pedagogies,” led by Ms. Moninder Pal Kaur and Dr. Kshama Swarnkar, Resource Persons from CBSE. The session emphasised outcome-based learning aligned with NEP 2020, focusing on framing clear, measurable learning outcomes using Bloom’s Taxonomy and the SVO–SMART approach across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains.

Teachers were engaged in the Teaching-Learning Cycle – defining outcomes, aligning instructional practices, assessing learning, and reflecting for improvement. The workshop highlighted innovative, learner-centred pedagogies through the 3 I’s – Interaction, Interest, and Innovation – and reinforced the importance of inclusive and joyful classrooms.

A key focus was on integrating the 7 C’s of 21st-century competencies through inquiry-based learning, project-based tasks, collaboration, communication, value-based education, and real-life connections, along with age-appropriate computational thinking.

The interactive sessions, supported by activities and demonstrations, equipped educators with practical strategies to enhance engagement, address diverse learner needs, and strengthen effective classroom practices.
