CBSE Capacity Building Programme on Senior Secondary Physics

Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar hosted a two-day CBSE Capacity Building Programme on Senior Secondary Physics on 25–26 September 2026 in the J.J. Hall. The programme was facilitated by CBSE resource persons Mr. Navin Kumar Tripathi, Subject Expert and Trainer with CBSE and SCERT, and Dr. Garima Wakhle, PGT Physics Vishwa Bharti Public School, Ghaziabad. It was attended by senior school Physics teachers from various schools from Delhi and NCR.

The sessions focused on constructivist and learner-centred approaches, Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy, understanding contemporary learners, and innovative classroom strategies such as cooperative learning, problem-based learning and peer teaching. Participants also explored lesson planning, competency-based question designing, assessment rubrics, blueprint preparation and item analysis. Emphasis was placed on identifying learning gaps, remedial strategies, practical work, investigatory projects and improvised teaching aids.

The interactive programme enriched teachers with practical strategies for strengthening Physics pedagogy and assessment practices.
