Delhi AI Grind Event

Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar, organised the Delhi AI Grind Event with great enthusiasm on 17 January 2026, under the aegis of the Directorate of Education (DoE). Organised by the Delhi AI Grind team, the event reflected the school’s strong commitment to promoting technological awareness and future-ready learning.

The school was privileged to host the Delhi AI Grind mascot, a distinction achieved by being shortlisted from nearly 1,400 schools due to its exceptionally high participation. The event witnessed the active involvement of over 1,000 students, highlighting their enthusiasm, collaborative spirit, and keen interest in Artificial Intelligence.

The programme commenced with a welcome address by Mrs Priyanka Barara, Principal, who emphasised the growing relevance of AI in education. She encouraged students to adopt AI as a supportive tool to enhance learning, while stressing that it must complement not replace human intellect and independent thinking.

The mascot’s interactive classroom visits added excitement, as students showcased their creatively designed A3 concept sheets, presenting innovative ideas on using AI to solve real-life problems. The event stood as a fine example of teacher – student collaboration and concluded with a cheerful photography session, leaving behind memorable learning experiences.
