Inclusive UN 2025 – A Celebration of Inclusion, Culture & Youth Leadership
The Inclusive United Nations 2025, organised by NGO Prateyek, was held on 19 and 20 November 2025 at St. Columba’s School and St. Michael School, bringing together students from various schools, NGOs across India, and delegates from Ireland and the UK.
The two-day event provided students with a platform to understand diversity, human rights, and global citizenship through meaningful interaction and shared experiences. The programme began with an introduction to the philosophy of Prateyek, followed by creative group activities that promote inclusion, equality, and respect. Students participated in cultural exchanges by sharing regional snacks and engaging in discussions on earth rights, human rights, and the Earth Charter.
The second day expanded the intercultural dialogue as international delegates joined thematic groups on Climate Equity, Digital Inclusion & AI Ethics, Peacebuilding, and Education Access, contributing to the first draft of the SDG 2030 proposal.
The students presented their statements, moving collectively to St. Michael for plenaries, and celebrated together through cultural performances. The presence of eminent guests, including Ms Cynthia, UNICEF Representative to India, and Justice Kurian, added significance to the ceremony, during which the newly elected Children’s Parliament took its oath.
The programme concluded with the National Anthem in Sign Language, beautifully capturing the spirit of inclusion, accessibility, and unity that defined the INclusive UN 2025.
