Mathematics SDG Showcase: Learning Maths in an Interactive Way

The Mathematics Department of Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar, organised an engaging Mathematics SDG Display on 24 December, 2024, offering students a creative platform to explore the interdisciplinary nature of mathematics.

The exhibition featured unique displays such as Optical Illusions, Warli Art with Geometric Concepts, Curve Stitching, Nets of Platonic Solids, and Origami-crafted Mathematical Solids, showcasing the real-world applications of mathematical concepts and their integration with art.

An exciting Gaming Zone captivated students from Classes VI, VII, and IX with interactive activities like Factor Multiple Ring Toss, Spin the Wheel, Mathletics Thunder, and the Flip24 Quest Challenge, fostering problem-solving skills and teamwork.

Class VIII students enjoyed a fun-filled Mathematical Tambola session, solving math-based questions to win prizes.

The event reinforced mathematical concepts while promoting creativity, critical thinking, and a love for learning, inspiring students to view mathematics as both practical and enjoyable.
