Orientation Session on Delhi AI Mini Grind Program

Salwan Public School organised an orientation session on the Delhi AI Mini Grind Program, an initiative under Delhi AI Grind, India’s first city-centric AI innovation movement. It was held on 29th December 2025 for students of Classes VI to XI. Approximately 1,000 students attended the  orientation,  which  was conducted by the Mentor  Team of   Delhi AI Grind – Dr. Shilpa Raghuvanshi Chauhan, Ms Yojna Bablani, Ms. Kalyanee Varhney, Ms. Bhavna Kaushik and Ms PriyankaAgarwal.

The programme is aimed at empowering school students to identify real-world civic problems of Delhi and design AI-driven solutions through structured mentorship, innovation, and hands-on problem solving. It effectively bridges classroom learning with community challenges, thereby nurturing future-ready innovators. The session highlighted the initiative as a mandatory activity and clearly explained the process of participation, expectations, and learning outcomes.

The interactive session motivated students to explore the potential of Artificial Intelligence and encouraged them to use technology creatively for meaningful societal impact.
