TeachCamp 2025: Teacher Training Programme

TeachCamp 2025, a three-day teacher training programme, was held from 20 to 22 December 2025 at Daly College, Indore. The programme was organised by SCOO NEWS in collaboration with Daly College and brought together educators from across the country for immersive professional learning. Salwan Education Trust marked its presence through two teachers from Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar, amongst other teachers from Salwan Schools.

The camp featured expert-led masterclasses by eminent educationists such as Dr. Gurmeet Bindra, Principal, Daly College; Dr. Bhavanishankar Subramanian, Director – Strategy, Research & Innovation, Heartfulness International Schools; Col. Gopal Karunakaran, Advisor, Shiv Nadar Foundation; Vikramjit Singh Roparai, heritage educator and author; Rouble Tuli and Shikha Dutt, education influencers; Faiz Khan, Chief Learning Officer, Skills for Us; Preethi Vickram, Founder, Tapas Progressive School; and Col. A. Shekhar, Regional Director, Universal Group of Schools.

The workshop focused on strengthening modern teaching practices on classroom effectiveness, curiosity-driven learning, competency-based education, social-emotional learning, brain-based pedagogy, and student–school relationships. Sessions were interactive, reflective, and application-oriented, enabling teachers to connect theory with real classroom practices. The participants actively engaged in the sessions through collaborative activities. Creative platforms such as Teachers Got Talent and daily reflection sessions further enriched the experience.

TeachCamp 2025 was an inspiring journey that reinforced the importance of continuous professional development and student-centred teaching practices.
