Inclusive Duniya Circle: Fostering Empathy and Inclusion

“Inclusion begins with understanding – and understanding begins with a conversation.”

Salwan Public School organised ‘Inclusive Duniya Circle’, an interactive programme for primary students to sensitise them to the needs and challenges of Children With Special Needs (CWSN) on 7th August 2025. The session was conducted by Ms. Pooja (Founder) and Ms. Charuvi (Senior Facilitator) from The Sarvodya Collective, an organisation recognised among the Top 100 Global Educational Innovations of 2025 by HundrED.

Conducted as part of Inclusive Duniya Month, the session used engaging Circle Time discussions and specially designed comics to promote inclusiveness. The interactive format not only deepened their awareness of diverse abilities but also nurtured empathy, encouraged respect for differences, and inspired practical ideas to foster inclusion in daily school life.
