Raksha Bandhan Celebrations

The Nursery and Pre-Primary students celebrated Raksha Bandhan on 27th August 2026,Thursday with great enthusiasm and joy, embracing the beautiful bond of love, shared between brothers and sisters.

As part of the celebration, the children participated enthusiastically in a Rakhi-making activity. Using colourful and creative materials, they made beautiful rakhis with great excitement. The activity encouraged their creativity while helping them understand the significance of the festival.

The celebration was further enriched by a special Raksha Bandhan Assembly, where the young learners confidently expressed the spirit of the festival. The students spoke about the importance of Raksha Bandhan, sharing how brothers and sisters care for, respect and support one another. Their lively dance performances on melodious Rakhi songs added colour and festive cheer to the occasion. Through their speeches and performances, children beautifully portrayed the warmth, love and special bond shared between siblings.

The celebration enhanced the children’s creativity, confidence, communication and self-expression. It also strengthened their social and cultural awareness, teamwork, coordination, rhythm and gross motor skills, while nurturing the values of love, care, respect, sharing and togetherness.
