Career Fair – Alumni Connect 2026

Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar hosted its flagship Career Fair – Alumni Connect 2026 from 8–14 September 2026 for students of Classes X–XII. The week-long initiative connected students with accomplished alumni and professionals, offering valuable insights into stream selection, higher education, emerging careers, and industry expectations.

The sessions covered Commerce, Humanities, Science, Psychology, and Media & Creative Careers, with speakers sharing their professional journeys, practical experiences, and guidance on interdisciplinary pathways. Key themes included critical thinking, adaptability, communication, continuous learning, networking, creativity, and responsible use of AI.

The Commerce sessions explored careers in finance, economics, law, design, and entrepreneurship, while Humanities sessions introduced students to opportunities in law, journalism, filmmaking, anthropology, psychology, and the creative industries. Science sessions highlighted pathways in technology, cybersecurity, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and interdisciplinary fields.

The week culminated in a University Fair on 14 September, inaugurated with a lamp-lighting ceremony by the school leadership. Representatives from 19 leading national and international institutions, including Ashoka University, O.P. Jindal Global University, Shiv Nadar University, Newcastle University, University College Dublin, SRM University, Amity University, Plaksha University, Pearl Academy, and others, interacted with students and addressed queries on admissions, courses, and career prospects.

Guided by Principal Ms. Priyanka Barara, Director Mr. Sanjeev Shukla, and Vice Principal Ms. Jyotsna Grover, the initiative broadened students’ perspectives, challenged conventional career stereotypes, and empowered them to make informed academic and career choices with greater confidence and clarity.
