Career Guidance Session: Explore the World of Law as a Career

A career guidance session on “Explore the World of Law as a Career” was organised for the students of Classes XI and XII on Thursday, 20 August 2026 in the School Library. The session aimed to familiarise students with the diverse career opportunities in the legal profession and the pathways to pursue legal education in India.

The session was conducted by Mr. Kumar Shubham, an alumnus of NLU Jodhpur, who secured AIR 277 in CLAT 2015. A former corporate lawyer with Luthra and Luthra, he is currently a Mentor and Senior Legal Faculty at LegalEdge.

Mr. Shubham introduced students to various fields of law, including corporate law, litigation, judiciary, legal consultancy, public policy, and emerging areas. He also shared valuable insights into CLAT and other legal entrance examinations, highlighting the importance of reading, analytical reasoning, logical reasoning, and current affairs.

The interactive session enabled students to clarify their doubts and gain a better understanding of the skills, academic journey, and career prospects in law. The session was informative, engaging, and inspiring, and encouraged students to explore law as a career with greater awareness and confidence.
