Salwan Public School celebrated Shakespeare Day on 23rd April 2025 to honour the legendary playwright William Shakespeare on his birth anniversary. The event brought alive the timeless world of Shakespeare through a blend of classic and contemporary interpretations.
The event began with a soulful Shakespearean Prayer, setting a thoughtful tone for the day.
Students presented a lively Talk on Shakespeare – The Gen Z Style, highlighting the Bard’s timeless relevance. This was followed by a gripping Courtroom Scene from The Merchant of Venice, bringing Shakespeare’s drama to life.
The celebration concluded with a powerful rendition of Hamlet’s Soliloquy – “To be or not to be”, leaving the audience mesmerized.
The event was a fitting tribute to Shakespeare, blending tradition with creativity and showcasing students’ literary and theatrical flair.
