Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar, New Delhi hosted a CBSE Capacity Building Workshop on ‘Storytelling as a Pedagogy’on 2 March 2026. The workshop aimed to equip educators with innovative strategies to integrate storytelling as an interdisciplinary tool in the teaching – learning process.

The sessions were conducted by Ms Sonia Wadhwa, Headmistress, Salwan Junior School, Naraina, and Ms Bakshish Madaan, PGT Physics, Guru Harkrishan Public School, Nanak Piao. Through engaging discussions, multimedia examples, and collaborative activities, teachers explored the elements of storytelling, its role in fostering empathy and critical thinking, and its integration across subjects. Participants also designed story-based lesson plans, translating theory into classroom practice.

The workshop proved to be an enriching experience, highlighting storytelling as a powerful medium for meaningful and engaging learning.
