Salwan Public School awarded at SDG Fest 2025 – 25th September 2025

Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar, was honoured with awards in two categories – Best Presentation Style and Evidence-Based Contribution at the SDG Fest 2025 – Deliberations: Green School Summit held at Ahlcon International School, Mayur Vihar–I, Delhi on 25th September 2025 .
The summit opened with the Interschool Sustainability Audit Competition, where schools from across the country shared best practices in energy conservation, water management, biodiversity, waste reduction, and carbon footprint minimization. Our school showcased its work on Solid Waste Management through innovative approaches and meaningful practices.
In the Deliberation Session on Education for Sustainable Futures, educators, environmentalists, and experts discussed embedding SDGs into classroom teaching, empowering student-led eco-clubs, and fostering community partnerships. Eminent guests included Mr. Rohit Mehra, ‘The Green Man of India’, Mr. Rakesh Khatri, ‘The Nest Man of India’, and ecologist Mr. Ashish Bipin Shah.
The deliberations underscored the importance of strengthening Eco Club activities, initiating student-led projects like paper recycling, composting, and QR coding of flora, and making the campus a model of green practices. The summit provided valuable insights, reaffirming our school’s commitment to nurturing environmentally responsible citizens.
