Salwan Schools visit IMA Dehradun Expedition
The collaborative educational trip to Dehradun, organised by the Salwan Education Trust for all Salwan schools under its aegis from 14th to 16th November 2025 for classes VIII, IX & XI, was a transformational experience for students.
The visit to the Indian Military Academy (IMA) inspired every young mind with the unmatched discipline, dedication, and pride of the Indian Army. Students also explored the iconic Forest Research Institute (FRI), gaining valuable insights into environmental research, conservation, and India’s rich natural heritage.
Engaging team-building activities further nurtured leadership qualities, cooperation, problem-solving, and confidence among learners. The spirit of togetherness, sharing, and collective learning was evident throughout the journey, making it a powerful example of experiential education.
From excellent arrangements by IMA to a comfortable stay and delicious meals, every detail added to the joy of the trip. Most importantly, the children returned with new friendships, new learnings, unforgettable memories and a heart filled with patriotism.
It was an experience that strengthened minds, expanded horizons, and celebrated the true essence of learning beyond classrooms.
