Educational Visit to Art Galleries

An educational visit for Class XII students, with Painting as an elective subject, was organised on 10 September 2026. The students visited the 65th National Art Exhibition at Lalit Kala Akademi, Mandi House, and the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA).

The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to diverse art styles, contemporary trends, mediums and techniques, while deepening their understanding of India’s artistic heritage. Students viewed award-winning artworks at Lalit Kala Akademi and admired masterpieces by renowned artists such as Raja Ravi Varma, Amrita Sher-Gil and Jamini Roy at NGMA.

The enriching experience was both educational and inspiring, complementing the students’ practical and theoretical learning in Painting.
