Independence Day Celebrations (Primary School)

“United in spirit, proud in heart, let us celebrate the colours of our nation.”

The month of August was celebrated with immense patriotic fervour and enthusiasm at Salwan Public School, Primary Wing, Rajendra Nagar. From 10th to 13th August, a series of thoughtfully planned activities provided young learners with meaningful opportunities to express their love and pride for the nation.

On 10th August, students participated in a Patriotic Song/Rhyme Presentation, developing language, memory, rhythm, pronunciation and confidence. On 11th August, the Tri-Colour Art Runner Painting activity nurtured creativity, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, colour recognition and concentration. The Tri-Colour Treats Class Party was organised on 12th August which encouraged sharing, cooperation, social skills, independence and table manners among the children. The celebrations culminated on 13th August with an Independence Day Assembly. Soulful patriotic melodies, stirring slogans, and energetic cultural performances by the students created an atmosphere of unity and pride.

The programme concluded with inspiring words by the Principal, Smt Priyanka Barara, encouraging students to remain united, cherish India’s rich heritage, and contribute towards building a brighter and stronger nation. The celebrations beautifully nurtured patriotism, unity, creativity, confidence and a sense of belonging among the young learners.
