The Primary Wing of Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar, proudly hosted the
Investiture Ceremony for the Student Council (Session 2026–27) on
17th July 2026. The ceremony reflected the school’s enduring vision of
“Nurturing Creativity, Curiosity and Compassion.”
The programme commenced with the
felicitation of the distinguished alumni guests, who continue to make the institution proud through their remarkable achievements:
- Kritija Saxena (Batch of 2012) – Creative Arts Psychotherapist (HCPC, UK), a pioneer in integrating art and mental health, and co-founder of a global well-being and arts initiative.
- Raghav Bhatia (Batch of 2017) – Data Management Consultant at Deloitte, an engineer with a passion for literature and performing arts, and an active contributor to creative platforms.
- Sukhjot Singh (Batch of 2017) – Senior Software Engineer at PlaySimple Games, contributing to innovative digital products in the gaming industry.
Their felicitation was followed by the
ceremonial lamp lighting, symbolising the triumph of knowledge and enlightenment.
The gathering was then addressed by the
Principal, Ms. Priyanka Barara, whose welcome address inspired the young leaders to uphold values of integrity, responsibility, and empathy.
The esteemed guests then
reminisced about their school days, sharing experiences that resonated deeply with the audience. Their journeys served as powerful reminders of how the foundation laid within the school nurtures lifelong success and character.
Further enriching the occasion,
Ms. Rashi Oberoi, Headmistress, addressed the students with words of encouragement, urging them to embrace leadership with dedication and teamwork. She also presented the
vote of thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to the guests, staff, and students for their enthusiastic participation.
The ceremony concluded on a note of pride and promise, as the newly appointed student council members stepped forward, ready to shoulder their responsibilities and contribute meaningfully to the school community.
