Primary Classes Orientation (Classes I-V)

Salwan Public School organised an Orientation Session for parents of Primary classes I-V, focusing on strengthening the school-parent partnership and empowering parents to support their child’s holistic development. Mrs. Priyanka Barara, Principal, in her address, emphasised the importance of collaboration between parents and the school to facilitate holistic development of their wards. Emphasis was placed on fostering a structured daily routine, cultivating reading habits, promoting effective communication, and utilizing positive reinforcement to enhance a child’s overall growth.
Ms. Rashi Oberoi, Headmistress, provided an overview of the school’s operational structure, policies, and procedures. The session highlighted the significance of parental involvement in the learning process, including regular communication with teachers and participation in Parent-Teacher Meetings. Guidelines were shared on promoting healthy habits, such as limiting screen time and encouraging physical activities. Ms. Shobha Banerjee, Dance teacher, introduced the ASPAC– the After School Performing Arts and Culture programme, designed to nurture students’ creative and artistic talents.
The school reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a collaborative and supportive educational environment, empowering parents to play an active role in their child’s educational journey. The session concluded with a renewed focus on partnership and student development.
