Workshop on Vedic Mathematics

A Vedic Mathematics workshop was held on August 22, 2023, for students from classes VI to VIII. Led by Mr. Shobhit Gupta, a Vedic Maths Trainer, the workshop covered topics such as the history of Vedic Maths, basic sutras, and multiplication/division techniques. The workshop’s alternative approach to calculations left students appreciative of Vedic Maths’ efficiency and problem-solving potential. Interactive activities provided hands-on practice, enhancing mathematical skills and promoting creative thinking. Attendees were equipped with practical tools for quicker mental calculations and effective problem-solving. This event proved to be an enriching experience, introducing students to an alternative method that stimulates innovative thought.
