Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar, celebrated Gurupurab with deep devotion and enthusiasm, spreading the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji through a series of value-driven activities.

The week-long observance (29th October – 4th November) saw students from Classes VI–XI actively participating in Langar Sewa and distributing biscuit packs, symbolising the ideals of Kirat Karo, Naam Japo, and Vand Chhako.

The celebration culminated on 4th November with a soulful Prabhat Pheri by the Pre-Primary students and a vibrant assembly featuring Shabads, dance performances, and a depiction of the Panj Pyare.

The senior students conducted a special assembly that highlighted Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings through soulful hymns, insightful presentations, and reflections on the relevance of his values in today’s world. Their presentations and heartfelt messages inspired the audience to follow the path of truth, compassion, and humility.

Class 4 students, under the SEWA Club initiative, conducted a heartwarming Langar Sewa by serving their peers and staff, beautifully embodying the spirit of unity and selfless service.

The week-long celebration became a beautiful blend of devotion and learning, inspiring every Salwanian to walk the path of kindness and service. It reaffirmed the school’s commitment to nurturing compassionate individuals who carry forward Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s timeless message of peace, equality, and humanity.
