Students from classes V-VIII had the enriching opportunity to participate in an engaging and interactive session with renowned author Smt. Shobha Tharoor Srinivasan at Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar, on 17 August 2026.

The session revolved around the author’s literary journey and her latest book, Bird/Dog, which beautifully explores themes of diversity, friendship, empathy, and emotional growth. Through captivating storytelling and meaningful discussions, Smt. Srinivasan encouraged students to appreciate different perspectives and develop a deeper understanding of human emotions.

Students interacted with the author, asked insightful questions, and gained valuable inspiration from her experiences as a writer. The session not only fostered a love for reading and literature but also reinforced important values of compassion, inclusion, and kindness.
