More than a place of learning, Salwan is a community
From morning assembly to the final bell, our campus hums with friendship, curiosity and care. Here is what it really feels like to grow up Salwan — in the words of those who live it every day.

Walk through the Salwan gates on any given morning and the first thing you notice is the sound — the easy hum of a few hundred conversations, the scrape of bags being set down, a teacher laughing with a group of students before the bell. It is the sound of a community that knows itself.
Our motto, Service Before Self, is not a line on a wall. It shows up in the senior who walks a nervous Class I student to assembly, in the house captains who stay back to set up for an event, and in the quiet way faculty make time for a child who is having a hard day. Learning here is inseparable from belonging.
This blog is where we try to capture some of that — the stories that don't fit neatly into a newsletter, told by the students, parents, teachers and alumni who live them.
