What Service Before Self taught me in Grade 12

A graduating student reflects on the service drives, late nights and small kindnesses that shaped her.

From the Principal's Desk

When I joined Salwan in Nursery, Service Before Self was just words we recited. By Grade 12, it had quietly become the way I see the world. The service drives, the long evenings organising donations, the small kindnesses between classmates — they added up to something I will carry long after I leave.

What I am most grateful for is that no one made a big deal of it. Helping was simply what we did. That, more than any grade, is what Salwan gave me.
