Class Presentation (Class V)

The students of Class V of Salwan Public School put up a grand show, ‘Utkarsh – Unleashing Potential’, displaying creativity and talent, on 21st February 2025, in the school grounds. The presentation had 100% participation of students, and was witnessed by an esteemed audience that included illustrious alumni as distinguished guests and worthy parents. The highlights of the event were a soul-stirring presentation of Mandala Yoga, an energetic Lezim display and a mesmerising Qawwali performance. The students who brought laurels to the school in various competitions were also felicitated.

The event held special significance as it marked the completion of a major milestone –  students graduating from Primary School to Middle School. The young learners proudly received their graduation certificates shining bright in their graduation caps, with stars in their eyes.

On this occasion Maj. Gen. Sanjeev Shukla, Director SPS RN, urged parents to be good role models for their children leading to positive character building. He emphasised that children learn better by emulating and not just by listening or reading. Smt. Priyanka Barara, Principal, in her address reinforced the significance of appreciation and motivation as imperative actions towards confidence-building and emotional wellness among students.

The special guests for the event, Ms. Jayati Varma, Product Lead for Google Ads and Mr. Ankur Arora, Director of Development (South Asia), Radisson Hotel Group, both alumni from Batch of 2007, recounted their experiences from school days and appreciated the productive changes that have been included in the school system over the years. They congratulated the students for their remarkable performances and motivated them to cherish each experience of school life as they would have a profound influence in shaping their personalities. Smt. Rashi Oberoi, Headmistress, moved the vote of thanks, emphasising an effective parent-teacher partnership that could work wonders for the holistic development of the students.

The event was a celebration of growth, learning, and achievement, inspiring the young learners to step into the next chapter of their academic journey with confidence and enthusiasm.
