Fancy Dress Activity – Nursery & Pre-Primary

Our young Salwanians celebrated Republic Day with enthusiasm and pride through a wonderful Fancy Dress Activity on the theme ‘Dresses of India’ held on the 22nd and 23rd of January 2025. The event transformed classrooms into a vibrant display of India’s rich culture and heritage.

Dressed in traditional attire representing various states of India, the students beautifully embodied the spirit of diversity and unity. From the elegant sarees of Bengal and Kerala’s mundu to the colourful ghagras of Rajasthan and the intricate tribal costumes of Nagaland, every outfit showcased the beauty of India’s traditions.

The little ones confidently described their attire and shared fascinating facts about the states they represented.  It was a joy to witness their excitement and pride heart-warming as they brought India’s cultural richness to life through their words and costumes.

This activity not only celebrated the nation’s incredible diversity but also instilled a sense of patriotism and love for India among the young students. The bright smiles and vibrant colours filled the day with joy and positivity.

The event left everyone with a deeper appreciation of our country’s magnificent heritage and traditions.
