Student Council Initiative: NGO Visits and Donation Drive

The Student Council of Salwan Public School, conducted a Donation Drive through NGO visits on January 4, 2025. The drive reflected the school community’s spirit of compassion and collective responsibility. The staff, students and their families generously contributed food, stationery, toiletries, and ration supplies, which were distributed to various NGOs.
The day began with serving Langar and participating in ‘Patti Seva’ at New Delhi Railway Station in collaboration with NGO ‘Guru ka Langar’, followed by visits to a shelter home near Bangla Sahib Gurudwara and Bal Sahyog, an NGO supporting vulnerable children. This initiative not only provided aid but also instilled values of empathy and service in students.
