Kavya Arora of Class IX-A brought laurels to the school by securing the Honourable Mention 1 Award at the Youth UN Leadership Summit for Good Governance, held on 4 & 5 August 2026 at Rajdhani College, University of Delhi.

The Summit brought together students from schools across different regions of the country, providing a vibrant platform for dialogue on contemporary global issues. Kavya actively participated in the SDG-based Group Discussion, demonstrating confidence, awareness and thoughtful engagement while articulating her perspectives on significant global concerns.

She was felicitated with a medal, memento and Certificate of Achievement by Ms Srruthi L. R. Elango, Head of Good Governance at the Human Rights Centre, United Nations University for Peace, and Consultant at the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights. She was also awarded a Letter of Recommendation in recognition of her participation and contribution.
