At Salwan, the endeavour is to provide an inclusive and an enabling environment to all children with varied needs. We firmly believe that each and every child has the ability to learn and maximize his/her potential through adequate learning opportunities, effective teaching and appropriate resources.
Physical activity lays the foundation for a fit body that houses a strong mind. It further builds life skills such as teamwork, resilience and sportsman spirit. The young Salwanians of Classes I – V celebrated National Sports Day, commemorating the birth anniversary of the legendary hockey star Maj. Dhyan Chand with great enthusiasm and fervour. They engaged themselves in a display of Surya Namaskar, Pyramid Formations and a variety of races with nail-biting finishes that gave both the participants and the audience an adrenaline rush. Maj. Gen (Retd.) Sanjeev Shukla, Director SPS, graced the occasion with his presence and decorated the winners. Smt. Priyanka Barara, Principal, reiterated the need for outdoor play to ensure the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of students.
